Oh I do like to play besides the seaside

We have just returned from spending ten days at my fathers house in Brighton. We filled our days with walks along the seafront eating chips and ice creams.

I spent my spare time learning how to crochet. This was more of a challenge than I invisaged. However I was victorious eventually and have learnt a number of basic stitches. This proved to be perfect timing as the crochet book that i had ordered from America has just arrived. I look forward to making some strange clothing for Moo moos and some random other bits.

Also whilst living it up by the sea we got the route 77 up to the devils dyke and south downs. The trip aboard the top deck was akin to a roller coaster. The drivers obviously have no fear swinging round the corners of the narrow lanes.
